Terre Haute expedition: Camping Day 1

[It's been a more or less uneventful day of travel for the expedition team. Not unexpected for the first leg of such a trip, and with any luck, it will stay that way.

As the sun starts to get low in the sky, Felix signals the group with a sharp whistle to stop, shortly after he feels the change. They've entered the Dead Zone. That sudden loss of power for anyone used to that sort of thing. Not an easy thing to adjust to, at first.]

"We've crossed into the border of the Dead Zone now. We should stop here for the night. Those of you with experience, help set up camp as needed. And I recommend a few of you working out a watch schedule. You never can tell what might be out here."

Which is wrong, by the way. Cutting someone when they're sick doesn't get out the sickness. [Rolls her eyes at Ezio. Dude how many times does she have to explain...]

Bet it's hard... to tell, if it works. People probably die, first.

[Since, you know, they're bleeding out and everything.]

Stephanie is not a doctor, and so she cannot prove anything.

I've watched documentaries!

That... doesn't count. At all.

[He casually wraps an arm around Cass's hips from where he sits. Too lazy to stand up to put an arm around her shoulders.]

You see? Even Cassandra knows it does not count.

Perhaps you understand the body less than you think you do!

I understand more than you. You guys suck. [Pouty. And watchin u Ezio]

[hellofist]

[In the interest of not making Ezio aggravate his injury more, Cass scoots closer to him so he won't have to stretch quite as far to get his arm around her.]

We don't. You like us.

[Watchin u watchin, Stephanie.]

[He keeps his arm around her, more comfortable with her closer.]

You love us, even.

Very much. [She's just feeling jelly now :( where are her cuddles?? This is unfair!]

I guess, anyway.

[Cassandra's Ezio cuddle time is severely lacking in comparison to her Stephanie cuddling time, so for now she's perfectly fine where she is. Jealousy is dumb anyway, if Steph wanted to share it's not like there's much space between them.

And in response to that, Steph gets the biggest pout ever.]

[He runs a hand along Cass's upper thigh. He misses his girlfriend, but this is all just innocent touching, of course.]

How cruel of Stephanie, hmm?

[Watching pointedly!!! And she's fine over here. All alone ; ( ]

Please. I'm just kidding.

[She knows well enough by now to know Ezio is devoted to his girlfriend and a quick glance at him shows this doesn't mean anything it shouldn't, so she just lets his hand do what it's doing.

Besides, it feels kind of nice.]

Shouldn't kid about that. Love isn't a joke.

I know you are joking.

[He uses his free hand to beckon her closer.]

Come sit on my lap, I want to embrace you but do not want to get up.

I joke because I love you with all my heart! So I'm allowed to tease about it.

[She looks at Ezio, then Cass. SITTING ON EZIO'S LAP, HUH... something Steph would probably do in private, but not so much now.

So Steph just lays on her back across Cass' lap and Ezio's lap :) All hers.]

Hey, you guys make decent pillows.

[hellofist]

[Once Stephanie is settled, Cass reaches down to run her fingers through her hair.]

Not all heart. Part of it... loves Tim, too.

[After checking to make sure she won't hurt him, Cass relaxes a little bit more against Ezio so she can be more comfortable too.]

Not wrong, though. This is good.

Ah, but Cassandra, the heart is not a coin purse that can be emptied... there is infinite love to go about.

[Who can complain about an injured side when he's got two lovely ladies with him? That dull throb at his abdomen vanishes with distraction.]

[Steph closes her eyes.]

Beautiful, Ezio. And also very accurate. I have infinite love for the three of you.

Like that better. Just loving one person... seems like waste.

I agree. Not many people see it that way, though.

Different kinds of loves and all that.

[With a frown, she twists a bit to look up at Ezio. Still playing with Steph's hair, though. So pretty c:]
