Terre Haute expedition: Camping Day 1

[It's been a more or less uneventful day of travel for the expedition team. Not unexpected for the first leg of such a trip, and with any luck, it will stay that way.

As the sun starts to get low in the sky, Felix signals the group with a sharp whistle to stop, shortly after he feels the change. They've entered the Dead Zone. That sudden loss of power for anyone used to that sort of thing. Not an easy thing to adjust to, at first.]

"We've crossed into the border of the Dead Zone now. We should stop here for the night. Those of you with experience, help set up camp as needed. And I recommend a few of you working out a watch schedule. You never can tell what might be out here."

I can't read. Professional... isn't really important.

And I am terrible at reading! It is all the same, then.

You and Ezio can be study buddies, Cass.

[Because there's no way that could ever go wrong. Still, Cass likes that idea as much as she likes any idea about furthering her ability to read. At least Ezio would probably be more likely to just give up and go scale walls than the other people trying to teach her to read.]

I suppose we could. I would likely get bored and start teaching you dirty words in Italian, though.

You'd get around to that even if you weren't trying to learn how to read.

[Whaps his arm. C'MON, MAN. That's not cool...]

Have to give translation, too.

[Not that she really plans to ask Steph anything about what she and Tim do in bed. She already knows more than she wants to just from reading their body language when they're around each other, thank you.]

No! You tell her, you're the one teaching!

[She so wants to be like "AKA Ezio's only setting!!!" but no, not opening that can of worms just because she wants to be a brat.

She'll just cover her face with her hands.]

[Aww, poor Steph. Cass reaches to pet her hair and very politely does not ask if she likes quick anythings.]

[She should probably pick a different subject for them to talk about now that they've embarrassed Steph, but. Well. She has questions now.]

Is quick good?

If you only have a little bit of time, yes. Say you are riding the elevator to the top floor... there is only so much time to do the deed.
