Who wants to go home?

[It's been a long and busy past few days, and the giraffes of Terre Haute can sense the uneasiness among the weary travelers. Though some may not quite grasp why, others have a better sense of what's going on.

The three most vocal giraffes approach the group, who seems eager to depart. It seems they have a parting gift for the group, as well as a rather generous offer.]

[He just waves with his back turned and saunters over to get some juice. Yep. Not helping until she bothers to ask.

Maybe someone else will come along.]

[Carolina glares at his back as he leaves, but it doesn't stop her from trying to lift the chest plate yet another time. It doesn't work and she continues to glare daggers at York from where she's standing next to the cart.

Yep, hopefully someone else will come along before the caravan gets all set up to leave.]

[Carolina glances over at Gale's approach, her gaze cooling quickly.]

Been better. [She looks a bit exhausted right about now.]

You want a hand with that, then? [he holds up his hands in deference - he lives with an Asskickin' Girl, so he knows what he's inviting just by offering] I know, normally you'd have it, but we had a long couple days.

[She honestly does try to not get defensive. He doesn't know what's been going on, he doesn't know better than to even offer.

But the fuse leading to her temper is about half an inch long right now.] No, I don't need help.

[It's mostly without heat, though, as much as she can keep out as she goes to try and lift the chest plate once again. And struggles once again.]
