Who wants to go home?

[It's been a long and busy past few days, and the giraffes of Terre Haute can sense the uneasiness among the weary travelers. Though some may not quite grasp why, others have a better sense of what's going on.

The three most vocal giraffes approach the group, who seems eager to depart. It seems they have a parting gift for the group, as well as a rather generous offer.]

[And of course, little Raffy will see to it that everyone is well-stocked with essentials for the trip home, as well as organize the other giraffes with carts and saddles.]

Last call for juice! Here, you look thirsty. Take this with you! And you can ride on Larry's back over here. Do you want to ride in the cart instead? Mary can pull you instead if you want! Here, take this before you leave with Taffy!

[Now's the time to sort out who will ride with who and, of ccourse, grab that last minute refreshment.]

[Carolina's busy trying to heave her armor into the cart hooked up to one particular giraffe, that a certain someone arranged for her. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Let's be real here, though, even though this is Diet Spartan armor, it's still heavier than she can manage on her own, what with the battle wounds and coming straight from a near-death experience just prior.

So, she's got it broken down into pieces, with some of them already loaded, but the chest plates are extremely heavy and she's not doing super great with them.]

[As for York, he can't help but notice her loading up the armor and walks over, arms crossed. He can tell this is going to be about as successful as offering help to Nancy and Zeke, but he has to try anyway.]

I can give you a hand with that.

[Carolina jumps at the sound of his voice and immediately glares his way.] I don't need your help.

[For show, she starts lifting the chest plate again, but she can't get it high enough on her own. Not even with the adrenaline rush of the intense anger and paranoia that comes with being around him now.]

[He watches with no comment as she completely fails to do anything without his help.]

I didn't say you needed it. I said I was offering it.

[ having found herself unscathed and unpoisoned by her last encounter with raffy's drinks, she's definitely going to grab another drink. ]

Your juice is awesome. Totally not passing that up.

[ she's also up for being poked and prodded about getting back. oh and looking for a certain someone. ]

I don't think so! I guess just make sure you are comfortable. Are you comfortable?

Juice, huh? ... Sure, thanks. [he's still a little weirded out - okay a lot - but he's thirsty, and it's better than the warm, stale water he'll have in his canteen for the trek home]

We've been here a long time before you came along! We'll always be here with plenty of juice. Take this!

[Raffy offers him a jug of the house juice.]

Okay, good. Just ... stay safe, okay? If any of those things come back, have a place where you can hide...

[he's still not sure they took care of them all. some may have retreated, and as strange as the giraffes are, they're nice enough. he doesn't want them to suffer the same fate as the people at the encampment]

[This is beyond bizarre, but Felix doesn't have much room for arguing the point if it will get the job done. None of the residents died, for which he can at least be thankful.

He gives the small giraffe a weary smile.]

Someone had best use the journal to alert those at the castle that we will be returning before the day is done, so that everyone's loved ones will be able to eagerly await with open arms.

An excellent idea. Our own powers may not work out here, but at least those seem to - the one absolute certainty.

[Raffy remembers this fellow! With a nod of the head, Raffy rolls out a barrel of the silly grown up juice.]

Oh yeah! I just knew you would ask so I made sure to be ready for you. Is this enough?

Any more and I wouldn't be able to carry it back. Thank you. Is there anything I could give you in return?

<sub>[This one was probably the sweeties giraffe, and he had to smile at him, and admittedly would love juice. He was parched, and juice was always sweet - well, most of the time. His sweet tooth was rising to the fore again, whoops.
