Who wants to go home?

[It's been a long and busy past few days, and the giraffes of Terre Haute can sense the uneasiness among the weary travelers. Though some may not quite grasp why, others have a better sense of what's going on.

The three most vocal giraffes approach the group, who seems eager to depart. It seems they have a parting gift for the group, as well as a rather generous offer.]

[Jumpy Raffle is among the first to speak, holding something in one hoof. It's best not to try questioning how giraffes hold things with their hooves again.]

Um, thank you? You helped us, and I think that everyone here is grateful. So you can have this. If you want it? It's a thing you can take. Do you like to build boats? This is a pretty good one. I know because we used to build ships a long time ago. Um, giraffes used to, I mean? Please be careful with it? It is really a really old artifact!

[The gift seems to be plans to build a proper sailing vessel. This could certainly become useful in the future, or make a fine addition to a glass case in the library.]

Of course, Aradia. [he looks around, trying to find a place where they can spread the plans out and have a good look at them while everyone is milling around]

Let's put it here on the juice bar... if we can find a place that isn't too sticky. I'd hate to ruin it.

Okay. [She climbs up onto a barstool and starts clearing a few things out of the way to make room.]

[Percy glances over Lemony's shoulder to look. He knows a thing or two about sailing vessels]

What do you think, Percy? Does it look like something we would have the resources back at the castle to build?

Maybe. We can use some of the boats I built for the last expedition, if we can't find materials anywhere else.

Repurposing materials is always a wise choice, but we may want to withhold it as a final option - I'm not sure how many people this boat could carry, and considering how many came along on this excursion, we may need your boats, as well, whenever we choose to set sail.

True. [and he worked really hard on thos boats] We'll figure something out.

[THAT gets Lloyd's attention. He is not at all polite about craning his head over Lemony's shoulder.]

Boats! I've always wanted to build a boat and see what kind of treasures we could find. If you need some help making that, I'm your guy.

[He smiles a little at the giraffe.]
