Terre Haute Expedition: Paradisa Town

[After a long few days of traveling, the expedition team has reached past it's halfway point! And as such, they decide to make rest at a place that had once been the target of a previous expedition:]


Paradisa Town

[A small cutesy village that once served as a world change location, it has now been abandoned of all it's previous residents. Though it's condition hardly looks like a place that hasn't been lived in for years- instead it has the condition that everyone just stepped out for awhile. There are more than enough small houses to fit everyone, so it's a nice break from sleeping on the ground (for some anyway). It's also a good place to stock up if you're one of those explorers that forgot things such as food and spare clothing. That is, if you don't mind peaches and fish and really gaudy clothing.]

I'm just not very fond of this place, that's all.

Well...the first time I've been here, it was a world change full of screeching talking animals. And then the second time we were attacked by some bird like doctor.

It should be safe now, but I don't have too many fond memories of this place.

Was it the ponies?

No, not ponies. They all walked on two legs and wore clothing, but they were a wide variety of different animals.

I remember the mayor was a long winded turtle...

That sounds awful.

Mm. And they really didn't like swearing, they'd lecture you or make you write lines if you did. And there was some sort of weird spell that wouldn't let you do any violence or improper acts.

How'd you escape?

There was a train that took us back to Paradisa...though I missed that and had to walk back some of the way.

Ah- yes. It's a type of large transport that moves on rails- [Turning and pointing] Like the ones behind me, there.

How did you miss it?

Ah...I don't remember. It was years ago.

Um, about four or five years ago now?

How long have you been here?

[save_the_souls]

I've been here six years and four months.

How have you managed it?

Ah...[how do you even answer that?]

Um, the same way anyone manages living anywhere, I suppose. There's good times and bad times.

No. How have you managed to stay here so long?

Oh...

I don't know...I think it's because I'm cursed.
