[By now it's clear that the attackers have fled the scene, scattering in several directions of the Dead Zone. All is safe, and at least the giraffes have stopped running in panicked circles.

The attackers certainly left their mark, leaving behind a trail of destruction that can be traced back to the site of the monolith's crash. Smoke still billows out as the fires die out, but there seems to be no sign of life among the debris.

What is that thing? You now know that whatever it is, it's responsible for bringing those creatures to Terre Haute. While the giraffes return to their "normal" lives and others begin to pack up for travel, there may not be another chance to explore the crash site. If you want to explore it, now's the time.]

THE... SHIP?

[That monolith... is that a ship? Whatever it is, it's... rather big. Resembling a large cylindrical building more than anything, half of it seems embedded in the ground while the other half That is still towering over the area, though considerably in pieces. It's definitely seen better days, but it's not exactly diminished, either. Living ruins, with a whole lot left living, really.

It's leaning, still crumbling in places, as if someone set off, well, a very big explosion in the middle of it. It looks deep and full of many places to look around in and have your own exploration... but with the threat of as well as the logical conclusion that this is more than likely where those gross insect people came from, would you really like to take that risk?]

[ Standing here...staring at it. Long and hard. Then over her shoulder, Anne calls out, ]

We must know what caused this, and what those...creatures wanted. Who is brave enough to enter?

[He walks over, and a couple of steps past before speaking. Shouldn't you be hiding somewhere safe, Anne?]

It's what we came for, isn't it?

[ Hey, all those guys are dead, right? ]

Will you lead the charge?

[He was thinking more about sneaking in by himself, but for the sake of convincing, he shrugs.]

I guess I'm a little curious after all.

[The Doctor is working with a long and thick stick, fashioning it into a staff when he tunes in to the conversation.]

Parts of the ship are going to be unstable. Not to mention if there are more of the- whatever they are, inside.

[ She's a queen, not a soldier! Why the hell would she lead the charge into a creepy, collapsing tower? Even if she technically does want to go in out of morbid curiosity, her duty dictates she should stay out here to try to offer her guidance to any survivors and you know...hand out orders to stragglers who are doing nothing. ]

Will you be entering alone, then? I would fiercely warn against it.

Yes, you will find others who have traveled inside with my blessing. Your friend Mister Felix is helping lead this expedition, you have said? Then it would be well and good for him to go inside, so the brave explorers within will have someone to look to in a crisis.

[ Oh! Well, that works. She smiles at him, apprehensively given the morbidity surrounding them. ]

Mister Bond... You go in alone?

Yes, ma'am.

[Please. This is what he does. He goes in alone and pretty much blind to figure wtf is going on and how the hell to fix it.]

[James saw others looking to go in one way, but it's James and he's not going to bother them if they explore together. He has someone else to tag along with him (and it never hurts to look elsewhere right?) and it's after making sure his knife is in one pocket that he looks over his shoulder, a little bit dour even if there's a hint of well, excitement in his eyes at the prospect of exploring something new. Looking back at Ashley, who he's dragging along with him on this trip because one of them has to watch out for the other (which one is doing what is debatable), he tilts his head towards the ship.]

Shall we?

[ at this point, they're probably trading off on watching out for each other. ashley has a gun in one hand, ready in case she needs it because like hell will she be caught off-guard again, and she's ready for anything at this point. she's not entirely sure who convinced who to go exploring, but now they're both out there and she's following james. she's got his back, feeling better taking up the rear as they move onward. ]

Lead on, fearless explorer.

[ she's slightly more jumpy at this point, a little on edge and wary after being suddenly attacked by what looked like mutant bugs. ]

[ Anne is happy that people are still feeling bold enough to explore, despite the recent battle and being surrounded by dead bodies. Anne just gets through it by...not looking down too often.

When she sees two of the expeditioners start to head in, Anne can't help but say something before they do. Even if she has seen women fight since arriving here... ]

There could be more inside. It is not safe for only two... Should you not at least attempt to bring a third? Else, you could find the other party that has entered and band together.

[unnaturalpause]

[He grins slightly at Ashley before he turns to Anne, a bit of respect there in his eyes. Oh this is well, this is interesting isn't it?]

I tend to work better with those I know well, Your Majesty, and Ashley and I have quite a bit of experience dealing with such things.

[Mitsuru looked at the ship and watched it crumble for a few good seconds. It looks like she plans to enter and search the place for clues. She counts the number of ammunition she still has, unfortunately she's almost out]

Here I was reminiscing about Tartarus, and down came a tower...

No I was not. It was a tower that only appears during a specific time of the night. It was a labyrinth full of creatures we called Shadows.

That sounds quite terrifying ... did those Shadows resemble the creatures who attacked us, at all?

[Katniss approached the ship, looking up at it with a long, thoughtful gaze as she shouldered her bag filled with bug technology. She made sure her quiver was full, and her knife was in her hand.]

[Then she started to hike towards one of the openings of the ship, her jaw firm and her grey eyes tracking on how it was slightly vibrating.]

[Utena drifts towards the ship, feeling almost like a ghost. The adrenaline, the disgust, the shock has faded away, leaving her numb and hollow. She sees the ship ahead of her, she feels the metal of the sword in her tight grip, but there's a disconnect between her senses and herself, almost as if it's happening to someone else and she's just getting the information second-hand.]

[Then, she sees a girl, a few years older than herself, approach the ship on her own. Her eyes widen; is she crazy? Who knows what could be in there! Snapped out of her daze, Utena runs after her to catch up.]

Hey! Wait up!

[Katniss stops at the voice calling out to her, and she turned on her heel, frowning faintly.]

Can I help you with something?
