Terre Haute

[Today, our intrepid explorers have finally made it to Terre Haute. It’s mostly grassland, and on the outskirts small spotted lions, about the size of leopards prowl around. They seem to be more interested in the strange antelope running around than in any people, however. Towards the edge, lies a cliff face, looking out to sea, on occasion giant whales can be seen breaching the water.

Of the weird thing they came to look for, in the distance is a cylindrical shape, lying on its side. But between them and it is a strange village. One made up of excessively tall wooden huts, all of which have electric lights, turned on, though how they’re creating such power is a mystery, they are still very much inside the dead zone.

The residents of this off little village are wandering around, going about their buisess. The residents being a group of bemused looking giraffes. Perhaps you will even see some familiar non-giraffe faces milling about.

I hope they have one with a lot of soap.

You will be fine without it.

Real men don't use soap, right?

No. Clever people ask for olive oil instead.

Olive oil?

[assassino]

Soaps made from olive oil are of better quality.

[secondchances]

[Shrugs.]

I didn't know. Soaps are not my expertise.

[assassino]

[He laughs...]

Well, take my word on it, then.

If you lied to me about soap, I'd be very upset!

When have I ever lied to you?

[Not counting the thing about his sides just now.]

Never. [Look at that fond smile.] So I guess you wouldn't have any reason to start now.

Of course not. I am a man of my word.

I know.

Anyway, a bath would help with your soreness, too. Let me know if it gets too bad, though--I brought some medicine with me that might help.

I certainly will. Your kindness would be much appreciated... depending on the kind of medicine, of course.

The kind of medicine, huh? [Not sure if dirty comment or if she's just in the gutter all the time.]

Nothing that will make me feel more ill. I had been given those little pills from your time before, and they made me feel groggy.

No, no, nothing like that.

Then I will take it.

Right now? That sore, hmm? We're going to have to get you a back brace at this rate, Ezio.

[assassino]

It will be fine until we get back and I can see a proper doctor. He can give me the proper back brace, given that I am getting so old.

[secondchances]

[As he talks, she takes out her first aid kit that mom Tim insisted she and Cass pack. Have some ibuprofen, Ezio, and a water bottle :) ]
