Terre Haute

[Today, our intrepid explorers have finally made it to Terre Haute. It’s mostly grassland, and on the outskirts small spotted lions, about the size of leopards prowl around. They seem to be more interested in the strange antelope running around than in any people, however. Towards the edge, lies a cliff face, looking out to sea, on occasion giant whales can be seen breaching the water.

Of the weird thing they came to look for, in the distance is a cylindrical shape, lying on its side. But between them and it is a strange village. One made up of excessively tall wooden huts, all of which have electric lights, turned on, though how they’re creating such power is a mystery, they are still very much inside the dead zone.

The residents of this off little village are wandering around, going about their buisess. The residents being a group of bemused looking giraffes. Perhaps you will even see some familiar non-giraffe faces milling about.

Good. She seems to have found company as sour as she is, nonetheless.

[He opens his arms to pull her into a hug.]

[Aww, her big Italian teddy bear. Steph snuggles against his chest.]

Good. I would not have you feel ill at ease.

I can't be too upset over one person when I have people like you, huh?

Of course. You know I will always be here to dry your tears, comfort you with my embrace, shower you with affection!

[And not drop her at a moment's notice and run off with some crazy person, unlike SOMEONE.]

You're one of the best at those things.

But really, I'll get over it. With you, Cass, Tim, Kara... there's no reason for me to grovel for a chance to be on Lucrezia's good side.

[He strokes her hair.]

You will always have me standing in your support, even if our friendship changed.

It won't change. [Because Ezio would never do anything that would require it to change, right?]

I'd say it could get better, but we're pretty awesome as is. Friends 'til the end.
