[Good evening, explorers! After departing from Cair Paradisa, the path was south at first, but turned west fairly early on. Skirting well south of Eldritch Forest, the travelers had camped near the edge of the Amber Steppe, not quite within sight of the forest that marks the Totem Coast. The grasses are parched brown by the heat, though greener patches mark the presence of water. It's near one of these - a small, bubbling stream leading west that Raine has chosen to follow as it will almost certainly run into the river marked on her map - that the travelers have made their camp.

The carts and wagons are arranged in a defensive circle, though the campers are free to set up their tents outside them as well as inside wher ethe rest of them are. There are small cooking fires scattered around as well as a large bonfire in the center for socializing.

Play music? Sing? Teach those poor non-Earth kids how to make s'mores? Or just sit around and socialize with others.

Or hide in your tent and ignore everyone, if you really want to.]

Haven't had them before. Dornish food is supposed to be spicy, but I've never been to Dorne.

Well, if we make any on this trip I'll try to remember not to make your portion too spicy then.

[ Her face splits into a wide smile when Nymeria comes into view. At the sound of Arya's voice, Nymeria's tail wags madly. Arya had tied her to the trunk, knowing Nymeria could snap a branch. The rope bears teeth marks; an hour or two tops remained before she ate right through.

Behind her, Aemon snorts and raises his head. Arya's shoes are next to him. Arya trusted him not to chew them up. ]

Hey, my voice is wonderful!

[When they reach Nymeria, Zelos follows but keeps his distance, simply watching as he puts his hands behind his head. He knows the wolf proobably won't harm Arya, but he's not taking his chances with it for himself]

I don't know. Let's ask Nymeria. What do you think? Should Zelos shut up?

[ Nymeria licks her face. Arya pulls back with a laugh. ]

That's a yes!

[a whine noise and his shoulders slump]

That's just mean.

[ Barely reining in a smile, she walks back to Zelos and jumps so she can throw her arms around his neck. ]

[And he's getting used to this so he'll catch her, wrapping his arms around her quickly to hold onto her. She's light enough so it's easy to carry her even without his powers, but he'll still tease] Umpf! You feel heavier out here, darling.

[ All she wanted was to be able to pat him patronizingly on the head. ~~Damn height difference.~~ ]

You'll live. I eat a lot, but I never get any bigger.

[Haha midget. Whatever, he's carrying you back towards the camp now so consider it a free ride]

I dunno, I think your size has some advantages.
