[This afternoon, the quirky merriment at Terre Haute has something very sudden cutting its way in. There's the very distinct sound of an explosion. It shakes the ground with a small tremor for but a brief moment. Those who are looking at a certain monolith in the distance may see that there is now smoke coming from it, parts of it crumbling and tearing away as black smoke begin to fill the air.

Something's happening at that strange "thing" that fell from the sky. But what? Dare you disregard the unsettling feeling that may begin to steadily fill the air?]

[ YES GOOD. She'll stay near but...doesn't want to get in their way. Instead she'll look at the others, wondering what they can do. ]

We should have archers positioned here... And there ought to be traps laid. Pits perhaps, with stakes.

[Still working, sorry he's in inventing mode now. It takes him a few moments to respond]

[ Arya leaves one of the smaller wagons she had managed to fill with a load of boards and metal parts nearby. The horse she had stolen for the wagon rolls its eyes and whickers nervously. ]

[ She does not look happy about a young girl being their archer, but that's better than her running off into the middle of battle. Anne shouldn't be surprised Arya knows how to use a bow and arrow... She clearly should have been born a boy. ]

I believe a good number of archers are in the midst of battle, but even one good shot is enough to save a life.

Why am I not surprised.

[He smiles a little in Anne's direction]

The kid's pretty touch, she could probably pull it off.

[ Because Arya totally sleeps with a morningstar under her pillow? And she is very much a girl and quite proud of it too, thankyouverymuch.

She does not stop to enjoy the unlikely praise. Rather, she looks to Once-ler with a knitted brow. ]

Will this serve? We'll also need someone with the horses. So no one tries to make off with them and stop them from panicking.

[ Don't look at her, she's a queen, she doesn't guard horses! ]

[He may not be Arya's biggest fan, even he can't deny the girl knows how to handle herself in a crisis]

[ She's totally clueless, because she doesn't know who in this little ragtag group of defenders might be good with animals. So she'll just name the first adult she thinks of that's near. At least she saw him a little bit ago... ]

Master Snicket. He has a calm demeanor and a soothing voice, enough to keep the horses from fleeing, and he would be quick to alert us should someone attempt theft. Where is he?

[Master Snicket is off at the fringe of the established safe area with a 2x4, standing there TRYING to look as though he could totally club something with it.

[ Searching, searching, that silly looking man shouldn't be so hard to find. Oh. Yeah, you, you! She walks towards him and beckons with her hands, calling out. ]

[ No, she's not! She's not surrounded by guards, it's horrifying. ]

Someone is needed to remain with the horses in case they are startled by the battle, or there is attempted theft.

I could stay with them, of course... [inwardly relieved to not have to hit anything with his trusty plank. SO VERY RELIEVED] Where are they being kept?
