[This afternoon, the quirky merriment at Terre Haute has something very sudden cutting its way in. There's the very distinct sound of an explosion. It shakes the ground with a small tremor for but a brief moment. Those who are looking at a certain monolith in the distance may see that there is now smoke coming from it, parts of it crumbling and tearing away as black smoke begin to fill the air.

Something's happening at that strange "thing" that fell from the sky. But what? Dare you disregard the unsettling feeling that may begin to steadily fill the air?]

[His tones are cold, calculating. Bourne can hear Webb in the background, warning him to try not to alienate any allies they have in this crazy dimension, but if surviving means being alone?

He's heading after the Doctor, levelling his pistol at the nearest alien and shooting for the eyes.]

Doctor! Be careful, they're going more for melee attacks.

[The tone in David's voice worries him; it's out of place with the man he's recently met. With that shot the nearest is clawing at it's face? visor? With a true aim the Doctor throws his stick at it's legs - it's caught up in the jagged exoskeleton but brings it crashing down as it flails. Hot on its heels is another and the Doctor backs up to David, watching his back.]

Now would be a good time to impress me.

[Easily.

Delta brings the gun up and fires two shots towards the alien's kneecaps. He's still aiming for incapacitation at the moment. The Collector goes down, just outside of clawing reach. Bourne kicks out and slams his boot into it's head, knocking it out.]
