[This afternoon, the quirky merriment at Terre Haute has something very sudden cutting its way in. There's the very distinct sound of an explosion. It shakes the ground with a small tremor for but a brief moment. Those who are looking at a certain monolith in the distance may see that there is now smoke coming from it, parts of it crumbling and tearing away as black smoke begin to fill the air.

Something's happening at that strange "thing" that fell from the sky. But what? Dare you disregard the unsettling feeling that may begin to steadily fill the air?]

[ fortunately ashley is well-armed and when she hears galadriel's call, she decides it's time to add fighting along-side to the list of things she's okay with doing in galadriel's presence. she lifts her gun, standing close but not too close. best not to blow out eardrums if she can help it. ]

You got any good ideas about this one?

[ she wanted an army? well she's plus one soldier she can order around now. ]

Watch them. We will have less trouble if they continue to attack head on, but we must see that they do not flank us.

[She's a little worried about all the most capable fighters rushing to the front, honestly.]

[ she turns to keep an eye on the ones aiming for them, making sure they can't fly around behind anyone. it can't be said that she's a poor aim, either. she's a very good marksman, for all her gun is loud. and at least she can fight from a distance. ]

Just don't get in front of me if you can help it. I don't want to accidentally shoot you.

Of course. [That's easy enough to keep in mind. As for Galadriel herself, well, it's clear that, however rusty she may be, her skills with a sword aren't entirely forgotten. She's graceful, in a way, her movements fast and fluid.]

[ they can give each other space and ashley can shoot into chaotic space if she needs to. she doesn't want to but she can. ]
