Terre Haute

[Today, our intrepid explorers have finally made it to Terre Haute. It’s mostly grassland, and on the outskirts small spotted lions, about the size of leopards prowl around. They seem to be more interested in the strange antelope running around than in any people, however. Towards the edge, lies a cliff face, looking out to sea, on occasion giant whales can be seen breaching the water.

Of the weird thing they came to look for, in the distance is a cylindrical shape, lying on its side. But between them and it is a strange village. One made up of excessively tall wooden huts, all of which have electric lights, turned on, though how they’re creating such power is a mystery, they are still very much inside the dead zone.

The residents of this off little village are wandering around, going about their buisess. The residents being a group of bemused looking giraffes. Perhaps you will even see some familiar non-giraffe faces milling about.

Ah... right. [ Sorry, he's a little tongue-tied. He takes a drink and puts it aside, swallowing and collecting his thoughts. ]

[ More of a vague one, although that wasn't purposeful. Still a little tongue-tied, this is basically his first coherent conversation in a week. His eyes widen in one part surprise and one part kind of a resigned horror at her answer. ]

Ah... I see. I guess I should've suspected as much. [ So did they travel here, or did the castle change? And if the castle changed, why was he here so much earlier than the others?

... And then the rest of his brain catches up and realizes that his reaction was a little vague and maybe a little insulting. Embarrassing! ]

Oh! I'm sure Hempstead must have been nice! Sorry, that's not what I was referring to.

[Wow, that is quite a reaction to hearing about her residence. Could it be... he's heard about Paradisa before? Would that make him a First Gen or someone else...?

As confused as she is though, she doesn't seem insulted.]

The castle, actually. I had considered that I was back on castle territory, but I wasn't exactly sure since... [ he motions around them. This Is Not The Castle He Was Looking For. ]
