Terre Haute Expedition: Paradisa Town

[After a long few days of traveling, the expedition team has reached past it's halfway point! And as such, they decide to make rest at a place that had once been the target of a previous expedition:]


Paradisa Town
Note: Talking Animal People and Actually Happy Once-ler Not Included

[A small cutesy village that once served as a world change location, it has now been abandoned of all it's previous residents. Though it's condition hardly looks like a place that hasn't been lived in for years- instead it has the condition that everyone just stepped out for awhile. There are more than enough small houses to fit everyone, so it's a nice break from sleeping on the ground (for some anyway). It's also a good place to stock up if you're one of those explorers that forgot things such as food and spare clothing. That is, if you don't mind peaches and fish and really gaudy clothing.]

[She begins to pick some more and gently tosses them down!]

[He catches every one, rolling them down gently into a pile. Eventually...]

You have a good amount! Any more, and it'll start spoiling before you get to finish it.

[She nods. It looks like a big enough pile to her.] Do you think everyone else will like them?

[heliotroping]

[he picks one up and sniffs it]

I think so! They were very good, but it's the kind of thing you get tired of if you have too many...

[cyan_maid]

[Slowly, Jane begins her descent. Hey, you've got to be careful when climbing trees.] That sounds like pretty much anything you have too much of.

[heliotroping]

Then everyone should like it just fine. [in the mean time, he wipes the peach down and tosses it to her lightly when she's back on the ground]

[cyan_maid]

Oh- [She catches with minimal fumbling.] Thanks!

[heliotroping]

I'll tell you in a moment...

[She takes a bite, and immediately hums.]

Good! It's good!

[heliotroping]

[he picks up another and wipes it down before taking a bite]

Hmm... It's less sweet than I remember.

[cyan_maid]

Less sweet? Have residents ever been here before?

[heliotroping]

Yeah... A few years back, the castle brought everyone here as a world change.

[cyan_maid]

That's awfully strange. Whenever the castle takes us somewhere new, I'd always assumed it was far removed from this world.

[heliotroping]

Apparently not... Allen showed me the new map from Lastlook, and some of the marked locations were where the castle took us.

[cyan_maid]

Really? Do you know where that map is? I think I'd like to look it over.

[heliotroping]

I don't have a copy on me, but Allen does..!

[cyan_maid]

Alright! I'll have to ask Allen, then. Is he on the expedition, by any chance?

[heliotroping]

He is. He's the one with white hair and a star shaped scar on his face.

[cyan_maid]

[She thinks about that for a second.]

Oh! I think I've met him before. One time. When I wasn't quite myself.

[heliotroping]

Now's a good time to meet him. When you're yourself.

[cyan_maid]

He's not the type to hold that against anyone, is he?

[heliotroping]

Not at all.

[he's pretty sure Allen's done some things while not himself either]

Then I'll have to be sure to speak with him.

[heliotroping]

Okay. But first thing's first... We need to get these to a wagon.

[cyan_maid]
