Terre Haute Expedition: Paradisa Town

[After a long few days of traveling, the expedition team has reached past it's halfway point! And as such, they decide to make rest at a place that had once been the target of a previous expedition:]


Paradisa Town
Note: Talking Animal People and Actually Happy Once-ler Not Included

[A small cutesy village that once served as a world change location, it has now been abandoned of all it's previous residents. Though it's condition hardly looks like a place that hasn't been lived in for years- instead it has the condition that everyone just stepped out for awhile. There are more than enough small houses to fit everyone, so it's a nice break from sleeping on the ground (for some anyway). It's also a good place to stock up if you're one of those explorers that forgot things such as food and spare clothing. That is, if you don't mind peaches and fish and really gaudy clothing.]

[She blinks, but then remembers. he probably doesn't have anything like this because of Once-Ler.] A peach is a really sweet fruit that you can eat. Here.

[She tosses it down to him, hoping he'll catch it.]

Mmmm iffs good!

[She laughs.] Yes, they are! I'm collecting them for people to eat back at camp. Want to help?

Sure, I'd love to! [just gonna climb on up there]

[She watches him climb up the tree and laughs.] You must drive Once-Ler crazy. Climbing trees like that.

I don't think he even likes me climbing regular stairs. [because he dosen't climb; he drives on them with his uniscooter]

He wouldn't. I think he worries too much sometimes. But you seem like a pretty good climber to me.

I do this kind of stuff all the time at home. Not with trees, but I like doing athletic stuff.

That's good!

I know that you don't have a lot of nature where you come from, so you must be pretty happy to be on this trip, seeing all these things.

It's incredible! I hope the Truffula Valley looks this good one day.

It will. Nature's pretty resilient, so you'd be surprised. [It still exists in her world even with the mana fading and a war raging.]

...I went to see the little Truffula tree, you know.

It's beautiful.... I hope it's doing okay while we're gone.

I'm sure it's fine. It will get water and sun and nobody is going to harm a little tree.

They better not!

They won't! Maybe it'll have even grown a bit taller when you get back.
