Winchester/Fairfield Expedition - Depature

[After working for roughly a day and a half, nearly nonstop for some of you, the town's looking both healthier and hardier. With most (if not all) of the expeditioners contributing to reparation and building, you've managed to get a lot of work done: all the buildings have at least been patched up to some extent, and the poor broken fence is now standing and sturdy. You've even managed to get together a couple outposts. Nothing fancy-- they're just elevated platforms, really-- but they serve their purpose of allowing people to see far out quite well.

It's probably best to start heading back now, though, since you need the supplies you brought to last you the trip home.]

[Even some of the Draconis survivors came out of their buildings to help. Most didn't really speak to the Paradisians, but they at least began to show some level of acceptance.

Now, Brewer stands, smiling happily at the work done. Jesus, they might actually have a workable home here. At long last.

Of the Collectors, there has been no sign. Perhaps they moved on, perhaps they're waiting until the town lowers in numbers again]

This is... this is wonderful. I'm glad we took a chance on that clapped out radio, now.

[While the new citizens of Fairfield might be tolerating their presence, it's clear that they're not exactly ready or willing to have their guests stay too much longer. There's still much work for them to be done on their own, and the residents still have a trip ahead of them.]

We should make our way back to the castle. We have done all that we can for them, and the rest is in their hands.

[Vereesa does her best to help everyone get ready for the trip back. She'll walk around, gathering everyone up and passing the word along. If anyone needs a helping hand packing their things or readying their mounts, she's there to lend a hand.]

[Alas, you will not get rid of this little pain in the ass that easily. He'll be waving in around people as they pack, grinning flirty at the ladies, tripping over his own feet and generally being a nuisance]

So hey, the Doc told me I could see you guys through to the live zone, so long as I-

[He frowns, thinking for a moment, before carefully listing things off on his fingers]

Stay away from anything explosive, flammable, valuable, easily spooked animals and anyone wearing polyester. So you guys are super lucky and get to hang with the Heathster a little while longer.

[York's standing a little apart from the milling around. He's decided he wants to be part of the group that's staying behind in case these guys are still in imminent danger, as he sees that as a very real possibility.]

So would anyone else want to stick around for a while? I don't know about you all, but I brought enough supplies for a week at least. I think we could help out some more before we head back.
