Terre Haute Expedition: Paradisa Town

[After a long few days of traveling, the expedition team has reached past it's halfway point! And as such, they decide to make rest at a place that had once been the target of a previous expedition:]


Paradisa Town

[A small cutesy village that once served as a world change location, it has now been abandoned of all it's previous residents. Though it's condition hardly looks like a place that hasn't been lived in for years- instead it has the condition that everyone just stepped out for awhile. There are more than enough small houses to fit everyone, so it's a nice break from sleeping on the ground (for some anyway). It's also a good place to stock up if you're one of those explorers that forgot things such as food and spare clothing. That is, if you don't mind peaches and fish and really gaudy clothing.]

[She nods. She most certainly is. She think for a moment, concentrating hard on her wish. A wish that she and her sister could be happy and they'd see their brother again and that Olaf would never show up at the castle.

Okay so it might be a run-on wish but it's all one theme, okay?

She tosses the coin into the well, watching it fall to the bottom.]

Well, good luck with that. I mean, I don't know how she feels about the castle, but it must be nice to get away from it once in a while. Anyway, what about you? Is this your first one, or have you been here before?

Are they really the talking type, though? Maybe I've gotten the wrong impression, but they seem more like the "stab first, ask questions later" type.

No, no, I heard about them, too - though, not as much as the others. But, you're right. I guess I was too focused on the bad to remember that we had friends. I mean, with all the talk about raids and attacks on people from the castle, it's easy to jump the gun a little. Not that it makes it right, but...

[Stops herself, and shakes her head]

Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble on like that. It's just that I still have a lot to think about.

[Know what else he has a hard time believing? The castle being sentient. Four months of these shenanigans and he STILL doesn't buy it fully.]

How are you certain there's not someone else pulling the castle's strings and that it has its own 'sentience'?

I heard there was some guy in the first gens who created some, brought them back to life. That they're all on an island somewhere.
