[Good evening, explorers! After departing from Cair Paradisa, the path was south at first, but turned west fairly early on. Skirting well south of Eldritch Forest, the travelers had camped near the edge of the Amber Steppe, not quite within sight of the forest that marks the Totem Coast. The grasses are parched brown by the heat, though greener patches mark the presence of water. It's near one of these - a small, bubbling stream leading west that Raine has chosen to follow as it will almost certainly run into the river marked on her map - that the travelers have made their camp.

The carts and wagons are arranged in a defensive circle, though the campers are free to set up their tents outside them as well as inside wher ethe rest of them are. There are small cooking fires scattered around as well as a large bonfire in the center for socializing.

Play music? Sing? Teach those poor non-Earth kids how to make s'mores? Or just sit around and socialize with others.

Or hide in your tent and ignore everyone, if you really want to.]

Ah, just... about home.

[She tilts her head. She still can't place his voice, and it's really bugging her, but it's not important right now.]

What's it like?

Ah, well, it's usually pretty quiet... it's a pretty small city.

[She chuckles.]

I come from a village; it's pretty quiet, too.

[What else would a ninja village be?]

It's also pretty quiet here. Is that what made you think of home?

Ah, no, I guess... I just haven't really been thinking too much about it since I came to the castle.

[He looks back out.]

Even when I was in the castle, it felt... strange, but I didn't feel like I was really gone from home.

But now that I'm out here, I guess I've finally realized that I'm really stuck here.

[She leans back, bringing one knee up to her chin and wrapping her arms about it.]

Because out here looks so different from both?

Mm, I guess so.

[That, and back home? He'd have all his friends to distract him from thinking about things.]

[Some of her friends were already here, so it was a little easier for her--but no less confusing.]

[He runs his hand through the back of his hair briefly.]

At home, I was always around my friends. Practically every day, in fact. Not having seen anyone from home in over a month is just... really weird.

Oh. [She turns a little pink.] Some of my friends were already here--which still confuses me, even though it's been explained to me several times--so adjusting was a little easier for me.

But, I've made some new friends here. Have you?

Mmm, yeah, I have. [Not quite the same as the friends he was so close to at home, but it was nice none-the-less.]

That's good. There are a lot of nice people here. [She sighs.]

The only thing I don't like is that you tend to meet over the journal first--

[Her eyes grow wide as she realizes... Now, what the HELL is his name?!]

[Tsuna's kind of caught off guard by the sudden hitch in words, and when he looks to see her face, he just.. becomes more confused.]

No! Well, not anymore. I just realized we've talked over the journal!

I just can't remember your name.

Oh! [He thought she sounded kind of familiar.] Well, that's no problem. My name's Tsuna. How about you?

Tsuna? I'm Sheena. Sheena Fujibayashi. We talked about the weather, I think.

[She sits and draws her knees up.]

...aaa. It's weird, not having your powers.

I haven't had them that long myself, but... [Well, it's still a little unnerving, knowing you could come across danger and be unable to defend yourself.]

Well, my situation's a little different...

[She tilts her head as she gathers her thoughts.]

I have this thing that can enhance certain abilities, but I haven't had it too long, so I can get used to it. [Sorta.]

It's...hmmm...the ability I was born with not being there that I don't like. I feel empty.
