[Good evening, explorers! After departing from Cair Paradisa, the path was south at first, but turned west fairly early on. Skirting well south of Eldritch Forest, the travelers had camped near the edge of the Amber Steppe, not quite within sight of the forest that marks the Totem Coast. The grasses are parched brown by the heat, though greener patches mark the presence of water. It's near one of these - a small, bubbling stream leading west that Raine has chosen to follow as it will almost certainly run into the river marked on her map - that the travelers have made their camp.

The carts and wagons are arranged in a defensive circle, though the campers are free to set up their tents outside them as well as inside wher ethe rest of them are. There are small cooking fires scattered around as well as a large bonfire in the center for socializing.

Play music? Sing? Teach those poor non-Earth kids how to make s'mores? Or just sit around and socialize with others.

Or hide in your tent and ignore everyone, if you really want to.]

[She smiles and nods, moving closer.]

Yup. And you're Zelos, right?

The great one and only.

[She raises an eyebrow]

The one and only?

Do you know any other Zeloses?

No I guess you're right.

So I guess that makes me the One and Only Rue. [she smirks]

Well, I don't know any so...guess you are!

The great and incredible, one and only Rue! What an honor! [He'll make a tip of the hat gesture]

[She giggles]

Great and incredible?

Of course! Anyone could tell that!

[She giggles.] Thank you!

[She pauses, looking at her hands for a minute] I wanted to tell you... I was the one who gave you back your brush. But I didn't take it.

[He tilts his head curiously]

Hm? You weren't?

[She shakes her head]

Uh-uh. I was up in the tree and the person who took it climbed up, too, and gave it to me.

Huh.

Any idea who that person was?

[She shrugs] I don't know her name... she has green hair, long ears and she had a snake.

Hmmm, doesn't sound like anyone I know. [Martel has green hair, but he would've noticed a snake by now if she had one]

I've never met her before, either. [She doesn't sound happy about it. SHE WAS MEAN, WHAT?!]

[He notices] Weren't a fan?

No... I took Aradia's knife as a joke when she wasn't looking. When I got back in the tree the elf took it and said that I had a lot to learn. When I said she couldn't keep it she asked if I wanted to fight her...
