[Carolina's now feeling a little stupid for not having removed her pack before stepping out on the boards because just shifting the quarter turn to catch the board makes the boards underneath her feet shudder. She catches the board and sets it over the spot she's standing in before moving over onto it.

Not much better, but she can at least inch a little further along the boards.]
