[Good evening, explorers! After departing from Cair Paradisa, the path was south at first, but turned west fairly early on. Skirting well south of Eldritch Forest, the travelers had camped near the edge of the Amber Steppe, not quite within sight of the forest that marks the Totem Coast. The grasses are parched brown by the heat, though greener patches mark the presence of water. It's near one of these - a small, bubbling stream leading west that Raine has chosen to follow as it will almost certainly run into the river marked on her map - that the travelers have made their camp.

The carts and wagons are arranged in a defensive circle, though the campers are free to set up their tents outside them as well as inside wher ethe rest of them are. There are small cooking fires scattered around as well as a large bonfire in the center for socializing.

Play music? Sing? Teach those poor non-Earth kids how to make s'mores? Or just sit around and socialize with others.

Or hide in your tent and ignore everyone, if you really want to.]

[ A smile and she hands them over. ] I wanted to.

[ She unstoppers one to smell it. Nymeria comes over to sniff at it. ]

What do you think? Yes? [ Nymeria snorts. ] Fine. How about this one? [ The next one, Nymeria almost sticks her nose over it. Arya pulls it back with a laugh. ] This one then!

Uh huh. I also brought medicial aid. Clark thought you'd need the extra help, what with the Outpost burnt down and everything.

[ The display makes her laugh softly. ] That one is one of my favorites.

[ She carefully sets the oils aside so she can finish with her clothes first. ]

Are they from the Free Cities?

Thank you.

[ He misses the scrunching of her nose then as she tastes it. The marshmallow has a strange texture and it's a little too sweet for her tastes. But it's edible. She swallows it in a couple of bites. ]

I am! [she pauses] but if you don't like it that much why did you come?

[She blows on a spoonful of stew, cooling it a little before taking a bite]

I used to help out, too. Though I mostly snuck out to find berries and other things we could eat.

[She giggles.] Thank you!

[She pauses, looking at her hands for a minute] I wanted to tell you... I was the one who gave you back your brush. But I didn't take it.

[He tilts his head curiously]

Hm? You weren't?

[She shakes her head]

Uh-uh. I was up in the tree and the person who took it climbed up, too, and gave it to me.

Huh.

Any idea who that person was?

Really? Man, that is one useful way to use your breath.

[ A laugh. ] Yes it certainly is. Dragons, in my world, are fire made flesh. Their flames are strong enough to melt stone.

Two are, yes. From Pentos to be exact. [ She settles close by, removing her boots to allow her feet to dangle in the waters. ] One is of the Dothraki.

Well, I'm sure your family appreciated it. With someone as sneaky as you, I'm sure you could get away with just about anything.

[The sword is put back into the scabbard entirely, and the hand comes off the sword a moment later]

It's no matter. It would cause more worry if they were entirely silent.

[Now that he knows nothing has alarmed them into acting out, he's not that bothered by them. Baby dragon are something he's had experience in dealing with] You are speaking of the separation from magic or abilities?

[Oh good, girl cooties would have been the end of everything. He sips at it, in minimal amounts]

The horse? It's doing fine, there aren't any rocks in it's shoes and it'll be well rested by tomorrow.

[He's pretty sure that's not what she was asking]

[Okay, this trip was going to be pretty awesome, depite her first concerns. She moves to sit next to him.] I'm Sir Integra Hellsing.

[Wait... that just won't do. It's still hard to drop the title, but she is working on it.] But... Integra is okay too. Nice to meet you, Ray.

Oh. [She turns a little pink.] Some of my friends were already here--which still confuses me, even though it's been explained to me several times--so adjusting was a little easier for me.

But, I've made some new friends here. Have you?

[She shrugs and attempts to open the pack of crackers. Attempts.]

I'm not sure! Raine was estimating a week, but I think that's conservative, especially given that our map isn't to any kind of scale - wow, this one's stubborn.

[But she turns the package over and tries at the other end, and of course now it opens right up. WELP :T]

Is this one the Dothraki? [ She holds up the one Nymeria liked. ]

I think it'd be a pretty darn big plus.

[He seems almost surprised she can even say such a thing]
